Eric Tessmer returns to Wisconsin from Texas for the holidays – and for a solo performance at the Trempealeau Hotel. Voted best guitarist in Austin, TX 2017, Tessmer’s solo performances are not to be missed!

Tessmer’s songwriting has been described as being inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan, to whom he was compared in his early years in Austin. He still receives comparisons to Vaughan because he plays the guitar with a similar “power and finesse”. The Fender (company)recently presented him with a surf green copy of the 1959 Fender Stratocaster that he uses as his main guitar. He has also cited David Gilmour, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and Gary Clark Jr.as inspirations. HuffPostcontributor Ashley Jude Collie has described Tessmer’s “soul-chedelic” style as “Tessmer’s own cocktail of R&B, soul and blues rock”.

And, he has been collaborating with Nancy Wilson of Heart.
