Jason Eklund is a performing songwriter whose song subjects range from serious social topics and wars, to failed relationship and restless drifters, to the occasional skewering of American cultural iconography. His delivery, lyrics and picking style conjure up images of a campfire by the railroad tracks, a shared jug of hootch and the musical memories of a life spent on the road.
